  • Gelli printing is a quick, versatile and enjoyable way to create unique and lively prints.

    In this workshop you will learn to:

    • apply ink to the gelli plate.

    • create a variety of textures using different objects and stamps.

    • layer and combine colours effectively.

    • use techniques including masks and stencils.

    There will be time for you to practise the taught skills as well as experiment and explore with the materials provided.

    The prints you make can be framed as they are, made into cards or bunting or used as interesting papers for collage.

    • 2.5 hours

    • £150 (includes all materials, tea/coffee & biscuits)

    • up to 6 people (please enquire for larger groups)

  • In lino printing, an image is carved into the lino block surface, inked and printed, offering bold, simple and repeatable designs.

    In this workshop you will learn:

    • how to transfer your image onto lino

    • how to cut your block safely.

    • how to ink up your block in relief

    • how to make a single colour print on a variety of papers

    Your prints can be framed as they are or will work brilliantly for card making.

    • 2.5 hours

  • Collagraph printing is a fun and versatile way of creating richly detailed, tonal prints.

    In this workshop you will learn:

    • how to make a collagraph print plate incorporating different lines and textures

    • how to use the intaglio method to ink up the collagraph plate and achieve a variety of tones

    • how to print your collagraph plate

    Your print will look fantastic framed or used as a beautiful handmade greetings card.
